Physician - Hematology and Oncology - Hematologist/Oncologist

Physician - Hematology/Oncology opportunity with Peters Health Partners (affiliated with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center). Join an established practice in Albany/Troy, NY, with manageable/steady patient volumes and a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality hematology/oncology care to adult patients (outpatient clinics seeing 15–18 patients/day; inpatient service with 20–30 daily census), and working within a 1:1 MD:APP trajectory as the service line moves toward that model. Clinical duties encompass administering intrathecal, intralesional, and intracavitary therapies; vascular access and chemotherapy support by dedicated APPs and nurses; participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards (GU, GI, Breast, Thoracic, General) and access to virtual tumor boards through Roswell Park. EMR is EPIC; Magnet-designated nursing support is in place. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and a strong clinical volume with opportunities for CME and a comprehensive compensation package including signing bonus and relocation reimbursement. Board-certified internal medicine physicians with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology, or progress toward certification, are required.
