Job Summary
Hand Surgeon role within a physician-led organization at Grand Rapids, MI, combining private-practice autonomy with a large healthcare system. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, patient-focused care for hand and upper-extremity conditions, performing evaluations and surgeries, and caring for patients in both office and operating room settings. The position requires coverage of general orthopedics and hand call on a 1:8 rotation, with potential for additional isolated hand call. Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, participation in residency education (clinic staffing on a 1:8 basis and residency grand rounds), and opportunities to engage in teaching, mentoring, or research are included. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
- Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient care
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and hold active medical license
