Job Summary
Hand Surgeon to join an IHA physician-led organization in Grand Rapids, MI. The role is full-time (FTE 1.00) with schedule balancing office and operating room duties, including general orthopedics and hand call on a 1:8 rotation, with option for additional hand call. Responsibilities include evaluations, surgeries, post-op care for hand and upper extremity conditions, participation in multidisciplinary teams, and potential teaching/research activities. Collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; participation in residency clinic on a 1:8 basis; attendance at residency grand rounds and quarterly Morbidity and Mortality conferences. Requires board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery and fellowship in Hand Surgery; eligible to work in the U.S. with an active medical license. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
- Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient care
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and hold active medical license
