Job Summary
Conduct adult and pediatric urgent care services with autonomy, supported by on-site Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Scribes for vitals, medication review, and documentation. Manage minor procedures including sutures, casts, and splints, while interpreting EKGs and X-rays. Treat patients aged six months and older in state-of-the-art centers equipped with imaging and labs, utilizing advanced ECW EMR for efficient care delivery. Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine with one to two years of relevant experience. Join GoHealth Urgent Care's network of over 50 locations in the NYC metro area and Long Island, partnering with Northwell Health for seamless patient access and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Physician (M.D./D.O)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- 1-2 yrs. of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
- Comfortable reading EKGs
- Comfortable reading X-rays
