Job Summary
Conduct adult and pediatric urgent care services across Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, and Fishkill centers on a per diem basis. Manage minor procedures including sutures, casts, and splints, while interpreting EKGs and X-rays. Work with on-site Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Scribes for vitals, medication reviews, and documentation. Requires board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine with 1–2 years of urgent care or ER experience.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- 1-2 yrs. of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays
- Willing to float around to the following centers for their scheduled shifts: Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, & Fishkill
