Job Summary
Geriatrics/LTC physician sought for Lincoln Hospital (MaineHealth) to join the Division of Geriatrics in a full-time capacity. Based primarily at the Damariscotta campus with long-term care residents, the role offers potential inpatient opportunities at other MaineHealth facilities or primary care within Lincoln Hospital outpatient clinics. The position supports inpatient and outpatient geriatric care and contributes to regional expansion of geriatrics services across Maine's MidCoast region. Requirements include completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatrics fellowship preferred), eligibility for Maine licensure, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics, along with credentialing and privileges at designated locations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or equivalent
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics preferred
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics or similar
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations
