Job Summary
A physician in Geriatrics provides direct patient care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, participates in teaching and mentoring, documents in Epic EMR, engages in quality improvement initiatives, and supports community health efforts. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with home call; role involves teaching residents, medical students, and fellows across home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic settings within Trinity Health Medical Group's Geriatrics program in Grand Rapids, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or board eligible and will become board certified within five years following Start Date
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates
