Job Summary
Physician role in Geriatrics at Trinity Health Medical Group in Grand Rapids, MI. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care across home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic settings; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams; teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and fellows; documenting in Epic EMR; engaging in quality improvement initiatives; and supporting community health efforts. Teaching opportunities are available with residents, medical students, and fellows. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with shared home call; travel not specified. Qualifications include board certification or eligibility in geriatrics/IM/FM, active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain, DEA license, BLS, and participation in teaching and learning activities. Required Qualifications
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates.
- Physicians: Must be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
