Job Summary
Physician – Geriatrics in Grand Rapids, MI (1.0 FTE) to join Trinity Health Medical Group’s geriatrics team. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care across home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and fellows, documenting in Epic EMR, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting community health efforts. Eligible candidates should be board certified or board eligible in geriatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine, hold or obtain an active Michigan medical license and a DEA license, maintain BLS, and be open to new graduates with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced internal medicine/family medicine physicians. Required Qualifications
- Board certified in geriatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine or board-eligible with plan to become board certified within specified timeframe
- Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates
- Teaching and mentoring responsibilities not limited to residents and medical students
- Experience with Epic EMR and MyChart (documentation)
- Ability to participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to provide direct patient care in home-based, facility-based, and outpatient clinic settings
