Job Summary
Physician-led geriatrics role in Grand Rapids, MI with teaching opportunities and a focus on direct patient care. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and fellows, documenting in Epic EMR, engaging in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting community health efforts. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with shared home call among providers. Competitive compensation with incentives, starting bonus, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in an appropriate area of clinical practice or board eligible and will become board certified within five years following Start Date (unless sooner required by bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates.
