Job Summary
Physician for Geriatrics in Grand Rapids, MI, to provide direct patient care across home-based, facility-based, and outpatient settings. Role includes teaching residents, medical students, and fellows; participation in multidisciplinary teams; Epic EMR documentation; engagement in quality improvement; and involvement in community health efforts. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with shared home call. Requires board certification/eligibility in geriatrics or related internal medicine/family medicine, Michigan medical licensure (or ability to obtain), DEA license, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- board certification in an appropriate area of clinical practice or board eligible and will become board certified within five years following Start Date (unless sooner required by bylaws)
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
- Open to new grads with geriatrics fellowship training or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine candidates
- Proficiency in documenting in Epic EMR
- Teaching and mentoring responsibilities
