Job Summary
General Surgeon position in a high-volume, technologically advanced team at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA. The role offers a hybrid model of elective surgery and acute trauma work with responsibilities across laparoscopic/open/robotic surgery, endoscopy, rounding, clinic and ED consults, and use of EPIC EMR. Team consists of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 PAs; opportunity to participate in a full-spectrum surgical service with collaborative, mission-driven care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required
- Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program
- Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges
