Job Summary
Conduct acute general surgery at a Level III trauma center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, specializing in chest wall/pleural procedures, liver surgery, chest tube insertion, and vascular access device placement. Provide 24-hour call coverage with possible 1-2 day clinic rotation. Maintain ATLS and ACLS certifications and hold board certification in general surgery. Serve as a solo provider within a 178-bed facility.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified general surgeon
- Board certificate
- State license in Arizona
- ATLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience with acute general surgery
- Experience with trauma
- Experience with Level 3 trauma centre
- Experience with Chest Wall/Pleural surgery
- Experience with Liver Surgery
- Experience with Chest Tube Insertion
- Experience with Central Line Insertion
- Experience with Vascular access devices
