Job Summary
Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients while developing and managing treatment plans, including medication management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and support program development for advanced behavioral health treatment modalities. Maintain full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week within a Monday–Friday clinic schedule at the Orland Park outpatient location, utilizing system-wide Epic EMR. Requires MD or DO with Psychiatry residency completion, board certification or eligibility, and Illinois medical licensure. Join a team of 11 established physicians within Northwestern Medicine's growing Behavioral Health unit.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice
- Full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week
- Monday–Friday clinic schedule
- Outpatient clinic at Orland Park and Inpatient privileges at NM Palos Hospital
