Job Summary
Physician - Gastroenterology position in Grand Rapids within Trinity Health Medical Group. Join a six-physician, five-APP team in an advanced endoscopy program with endoscopy-only ASC and an inpatient endoscopy unit on the same campus. Role includes MAC anesthesia for procedures, collaboration with surgical/medical oncology and other specialties, opportunities for resident teaching, and involvement with cancer center networks. Expect a balanced workload with APP support, a typical endoscopy-focused daily schedule, and a pathway to professional growth through education and mentorship. Competitive compensation starting at $600,000 with a $75,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance up to $10,000, and comprehensive benefits; employer-paid malpractice and tail coverage; retirement and CME support.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Gastroenterology or board eligible with plan to become board certified within 5 years
- State of Michigan medical license at time of employment
- DEA license
- BLS Certification and recertification
