Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed for Trinity Health Grand Rapids GI team. Full-time employed role in an endoscopy-focused program offering MAC anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient procedures. Practice features include an endoscopy-only ambulatory surgery center and a state-of-the-art inpatient endoscopy unit on the same campus as the office. Responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures, collaborating with surgical, medical, and radiation oncology teams, teaching residents, and contributing to program growth within a high-volume referral center. Enjoy a balanced workload with APP support, a structured call schedule (approximately every 8 weeks), and opportunities for innovation and professional development. Competitive salary starting at $600,000 with a $75,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance up to $10K, comprehensive benefits, malpractice and tail coverage, and retirement and CME support.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified in Gastroenterology or board eligible and will become board certified within 5 years of becoming board eligible
- State of Michigan license required at time of employment
- DEA license
- BLS Certification and maintain recertification
