Job Summary
Conduct inpatient consults and call rotations, manage outpatient motility-focused clinics, and perform endoscopy as clinically appropriate. Interpret and execute comprehensive diagnostic studies including high-resolution manometry, pH-impedance testing, anorectal manometry, and breath testing. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and GI fellows while contributing to educational leadership, program development, and research within a multidisciplinary team. Join an established regional referral center for the Southwest to expand a robust motility program focused on gastrointestinal motility disorders and gut-brain interaction.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Gastroenterology
- Inpatient consult and call responsibilities with equitable rotation
- Outpatient motility-focused clinic
- Outpatient endoscopy as clinically appropriate
- Interpretation and performance of motility diagnostic studies
- Teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and GI fellows
- Opportunities for educational leadership, program development, and research
- Faculty appointment at the University of Arizona

- Fellowship-trained motility candidates
- Certificate and/or letters of recommendations documenting expertise
- Advanced fellowship training in GI motility

- Experience with esophageal, gastric, intestinal, and anorectal disorders
