Job Summary
Provide gastroenterology care with emphasis on outpatient services for a busy Ascension Medical Group practice in Kokomo, IN. The role offers a strong referral base, very limited inpatient GI load managed by 24/7 hospitalists, and a call burden capped at 1:6. Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents are available, with collaboration with Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and participation in a large residency program. EMR support is via Athena; opportunities to shadow/work at flagship venues within the system and potential moonlighting within the network.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Gastroenterologist
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Outpatient gastroenterology experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate with hospitalists and teaching programs
- Willingness to participate in teaching medical students and residents
