Job Summary
The position of Physician - Gastroenterologist involves providing a full spectrum of general gastroenterology care, including upper and lower endoscopy procedures, and participating in a combined clinic and hospital-based practice with a hospital call rotation for inpatient and ED consults. The role requires a physician to serve as a clinical educator to GI fellows, residents, and medical students. Candidates must hold either an MD or DO degree, have completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology, and be board certified or eligible, ensuring they are qualified for practice in Kansas and Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained
- Board certified or equivalent
- Training in gastrointestinal bleeding
- Training in esophageal disorders
- Training in inflammatory bowel disease
- Training in gastrointestinal cancers
- Experience with ERCP
- Experience with EUS
