Job Summary
Direct-hire physician role serving as the primary care physician for adolescent and adult patients within a federal civilian healthcare setting. Responsibilities include ordering radiology and laboratory tests, making diagnoses and prescribing appropriate treatments; teaching and providing consultation to other healthcare providers; completing required medical records; and providing oversight as the medical director of the troop medical clinic, immunizations team, and soldier processing center. Required Qualifications
- US Citizens
- Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent from an accredited school in the United States/Canada
- Active, full, unrestricted medical license/registration in US jurisdiction
- Graduate training: at least one year of supervised clinical experience (internship or first year of residency)
- Residency training completed in Family Medicine with at least 4 years of specialty training
- Evidence of equivalency to US-accredited education for foreign medical graduates as applicable (e.g., ECFMG certification)
