Job Summary
Physician, Family Medicine – Telemedicine Opportunity in Maine. Board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN are sought to join a statewide telehealth team. Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues, manage a broad spectrum of clinical cases (primary care, urgent care, women's and men's health, chronic conditions), design personalized treatment plans, document encounters in EHR, and collaborate remotely with other clinicians. Remote work is fully remote within Maine with a flexible schedule; licensure in Maine is required and multi-state licensing support is provided. The role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered virtual care delivered statewide via secure telemedicine platforms.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN
- ABOM certification is a plus
- Licensed in multiple U.S. states (ideally including CA, TX, or IL)
- Comfortable using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment
- Ability to conduct video-based appointments and document encounters in EHR
