Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management for patients of all ages. Perform medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and therapeutic procedures while maintaining accurate documentation in the Epic Electronic Health Record. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care, mentor new providers, and participate in Quality Improvement initiatives. Manage daily schedules and patient encounters to meet productivity goals, while rotating on an after-hours call as assigned. Travel between Premier Community HealthCare locations to provide clinical coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Current Florida MD or DO license
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30–50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Direct exposure to computer screens
- Possible exposure to contagious or infectious diseases
- Ability to travel between Premier Community HealthCare locations to provide clinical coverage as needed
- Background Screening Requirement: This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine preferred
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and complete annual compliance requirements
- Strong clinical knowledge in family medicine and evidence-based primary care
- Ability to educate, mentor, and support clinical team members
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards
