Job Summary
Family Medicine physician leading a care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care in Essentia Health’s Mid Dakota/Bismarck Kirkwood Clinic. Role includes providing acute, chronic, and preventive care, managing an established patient base, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, LPNs, and staff), and utilizing EPIC. Full-time schedule includes 32-36 patient-contact hours per week with an average of 16-20 patients daily, with Day/Eve/Night rotations. Access to local Medical/Surgical specialties within the Essentia Health network and opportunities for growth, mentorship, and professional development (training, tuition reimbursement). Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Family Medicine
- MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in the United States
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine
- Experience delivering primary care in an outpatient setting is implied by the role
- Ability to work within a care-team model with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, LPNs
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record
