Job Summary
Family Medicine Physician on the U.S. Army Reserve health care team providing inpatient and outpatient care to Soldiers, family members, retirees, and eligible beneficiaries with a focus on patient care. Roles include pre- and post-operative care and contributing to humanitarian missions; opportunities for leadership training and participation in STRAP and loan-repayment programs. Requires MD or DO, US medical license, board eligibility, completion of an approved internship, and U.S. citizenship and permanent residency.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy (foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from ECFMG)
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- U.S. citizenship
- Permanent U.S. residency
