Job Summary
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions for a panel of patients across the lifespan in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center setting. Emphasize preventive care, coordinate specialty services when needed, and work within an interdisciplinary team to improve access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved rural community. Provide comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care while building meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients to support continuity and reduce the need for regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- MD Degree
- Completion of accredited Internal or Family Medicine Residency Program
- Current, unrestricted California physician and surgeon license
- Current DEA registration
- Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record
