Job Summary
Physician/Faculty Recruiter responsible for full-cycle recruitment of physician and faculty positions at the University, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, developing targeted recruitment strategies, leading search committees, managing candidate communications, coordinating interview logistics and travel, and ensuring diversity and inclusion throughout the process. Requires coordinating with HR, credentialing, department leaders, and onboarding teams; tracking recruitment metrics; leveraging databases, networks, referrals, and professional associations; and staying current on legal requirements and market data. Emphasizes partnership, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple searches with deadlines; remote work environment within Illinois with Chicago as a focal location.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum college or university degree in related field
- 5-7 years of work experience in physician or faculty recruitment or healthcare talent acquisition (preferred)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment marketing platforms
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
