Job Summary
Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care including testing, diagnosing, and treating abnormal heart rhythms, with specific expertise in Watchman's procedures, ablations, and device implants. Manage an average of 20+ adult and geriatric patients daily while adhering to a Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm schedule, supplemented by a 1:6 weekend rotation and evening calls from 5pm to 7am shared with a large provider team. Utilize integrated EPIC EMR and MyChart telemedicine capabilities supported by clinical staff including LPNs and device coordinators. Requires fellowship training in Cardiology-Electrophysiology, 3 to 5 years of practice experience, and ABMS/ABIM board certification. Join Bon Secours in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater region of Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO
- Fellowship trained in Cardiology-Electrophysiology
- Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM
- Authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Current unrestricted Virginia license or eligible for Virginia licensure
- 3 to 5 years of EP Cardiology practice experience
- Must be trained in Watchman's
- Must be trained in ablations
- Must be trained in device implants
- Must have completed a U.S.-Based Residency Program
- Must be available for Call Schedule 1:6 weekends and weekday rotation
- Must be available for Evening cardiology call 5:00pm to 7:00am
