Job Summary
ENT surgeon with MD/DO to provide outpatient ENT care and ambulatory surgical center procedures in Travis County. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating ENT conditions in clinic, performing outpatient ENT procedures and surgeries, pre- and post-operative evaluations, prescribing therapies, educating patients, documenting encounters in EMR, and participating in program development, quality improvement, and teaching for learners. Lead and mentor staff and trainees, supervise advanced practice providers, and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to enhance access and outcomes for underserved communities. Approximately 90% clinical care and 10% administrative responsibilities with emphasis on workflow development and program enhancement; requires strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and ability to work within an integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology (ENT) residency program
- Board Certification in Otolaryngology or within two years of employment
- Unrestricted Texas medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
