Physician, Emergency Medicine

Emergency Medicine Physician needed to join UPMC Central PA Emergency Medicine Team. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages in the Emergency Department, performing initial evaluations, diagnostics, treatment, and stabilization of a wide range of acute conditions, collaborating with hospital specialists and staff, maintaining compliant medical documentation, participating in quality improvement, and providing leadership to mid-level providers and nursing staff. The role requires rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidate must have MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, and a PA license or eligibility; strong diagnostic, decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
