Job Summary
Examine patient health to diagnose clinical conditions and prescribe medications and treatments. Work with interdisciplinary teams to formulate treatment plans and ensure accurate coding of all visits. Maintain records in the Electronic Health Record, request further evaluations, and make referrals as necessary. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory guidelines for Medicare and Medicaid. Travel throughout and between facilities, handling hazardous drugs and contaminated products during receipt, transport, storage, preparation, and disposal.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible for certification in physician's primary specialty
- Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
- Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice
- Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities
- Must be able to handle hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products
