Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician (Part-Time) at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA. Responsibilities include triage and diagnosis in the ER, making immediate critical decisions, direct patient treatment and referral, performing minor surgical procedures (I&D, suturing), leadership and supervision of junior staff, medication management, and precise record-keeping in CHCS. Eligible candidates are Board Certified in emergency medicine or residency trained with 4 years of ER experience; US citizenship required; MD or DO from an accredited medical school; valid state medical license; ABEM or AOBEM eligibility; CPR required; ACLS, PALS, and ATLS highly desirable. Salary range $123k-$350k prorated for part-time. Location: Fort Benning, Georgia (US). Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced ER environment with pediatric to geriatric patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school
- Residency: Completion of an accredited residency in emergency medicine
- Experience: Board Certified emergency medicine Physicians or residency trained with 4 years emergency room experience
- Postgraduate clinical experience in emergency medicine is required
- Licensure and Certification: Valid state medical license and current registration to practice; Board certification or eligibility by ABEM or AOBEM; CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications are highly desirable
