Job Summary

Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders through complex catheter ablations, device implantations, and lead extractions while delivering high-impact, patient-centered care to a diverse Veteran population. Interpret advanced cardiac imaging including ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, CT, and MRI based on clinical interests. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as a Principal teaching affiliate of the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in a tertiary care center. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement projects if desired. Full-time weekday schedule with structured hours and ample time for personal recreation.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • MD/DO degree with completion of US-based residency and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
  • Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM)
  • Eligible for VA and University of Arizona appointment
  • Active, unrestricted US medical license
  • AHA BLS/ACLS certification
