Job Summary
Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders using state-of-the-art technology, including performing complex catheter ablations, device implantations, and lead extraction. Deliver high-impact, patient-centered care to a diverse Veteran population with complex arrhythmias while expanding skills through cardiac imaging and advanced procedure interpretation. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as part of a University of Arizona faculty appointment. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Participate in clinical research projects if desired. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- MD/DO degree with completion of US-based residency and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
- Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM)
- Eligible for VA and University of Arizona appointment
- Active, unrestricted US medical license
- AHA BLS/ACLS certification
