Job Summary
Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders using state-of-the-art technology, including performing complex catheter ablations, device implantations, and lead extraction. Deliver patient-centered care to a diverse Veteran population with complex arrhythmias while expanding skills through cardiac imaging, ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, CT, and MRI interpretation. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as a University of Arizona faculty affiliate. Partner with multidisciplinary teams for collaborative care and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Full-time weekday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm; salary $360,000-$380,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- MD/DO degree
- completion of US-based residency
- Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
- Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM)
- Eligible for VA and University of Arizona appointment
- Active, unrestricted US medical license
- AHA BLS/ACLS certification
