Job Summary
Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders using state-of-the-art technology, including performing complex catheter ablations, device implantations, and lead extractions. Deliver high-impact, patient-centered care to a diverse Veteran population with complex arrhythmias while expanding skills through diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like cardiac ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac MRI interpretation. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as part of a University of Arizona faculty appointment, and partner with multidisciplinary teams for collaborative care. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, with optional involvement in clinical research projects. Full-time weekday schedule with structured hours and competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered if qualified US citizens are unavailable)
- MD/DO degree with completion of US-based residency and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
- Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM)
- Eligible for VA and University of Arizona appointment
- Active, unrestricted US medical license
- Maintain AHA BLS/ACLS certification
