Job Summary
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Director of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to lead the IBD program in education and research. This role involves providing exemplary direct patient care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, engaging in mentorship activities, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. The Director will lead clinical and translational research projects, secure funding for research, and develop innovative clinical programs to enhance patient outcomes. Candidates must possess an MD or DO, be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, and have completed relevant residency and fellowship training.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Completion of an accredited residency in internal medicine
- Completion of a fellowship training program in gastroenterology or hepatology
