Job Summary
Provide quality dental care to adult patients while upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Assist the Director of Dental Services in establishing policies and refining quality improvement procedures. Evaluate current practices to recommend improvements for patient flow, dental records, billing, and appointments. Supervise, guide, and educate dental ancillary staff to ensure excellent patient care. Deliver emergency coverage on a scheduled rotation to address urgent dental needs. Participate actively in community health events and contribute to the Performance Improvement Program. Work a 4-day schedule split between Montrose and Pasadena locations, with an option to apply via mobile device.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited dental school
- Must have a current/valid Texas dental license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional clinical dental experience in practicing dentistry
- Participation in Medicare and Medicaid Programs and other federal and state reimbursement programs
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and decision-making responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years preferred
- Authoritative knowledge of the practice and techniques of dentistry as a general practitioner in a community health center
- Knowledge of Spanish
