Job Summary
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding at least once per week. Partner with Advanced Practice Providers to manage regulatory and complex visits while overseeing their performance and mentorship. Close quality gaps to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes and serve as an advocate for residents in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. Represent Curana Health's mission as a clinical leader across 32 states. This role requires travel to assigned facilities, with potential future requirements for a driver's license and auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment
- Active DEA License
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Compassionate, motivated, and a strong collaborator
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Acceptable driving record
