Job Summary
Conduct high-quality clinical care in interventional pulmonary and critical care at University of Minnesota Medical Center and affiliated Fairview Hospitals, dedicating at least 85% of effort to patient treatment. Manage concurrent education of trainees and actively contribute to Division and Department academic programs, including multi-disciplinary rounds, journal clubs, and core curriculum lectures for students, residents, and fellows. Lead collaborative research activities and participate in multi-investigator studies related to pulmonary and critical care, with an expectation of one publication per year. Develop a regional and national expertise in complex chronic lung diseases, interstitial lung disease, and airways diseases while engaging in salary-supported research or program leadership if needed.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- demonstrated high-level qualifications and in-depth knowledge in the area of Sleep Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility by American Board of Internal Medicine
- ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
- maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA category while in the United States
