Job Summary
Conduct critical care for patients with heart failure, managing mechanical circulatory support, VA ECMO, and LVADs while floating Swan-Ganz Catheters. Lead a collaborative multidisciplinary team caring for individuals requiring orthotopic heart transplant, with preferred experience in anesthesia. Provide academic education to medical students, residents, and fellows while participating in research. Join the expanding ICU at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix Campus, located in the newly-built facility recognized as a leading primary teaching hospital in the Greater Phoenix area.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine by ABA, ABIM, ABS
- Academic experience
- desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows
- desire to participate in research
- Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices
- Experience with VA ECMO
