Job Summary
Manage patients with heart failure, many requiring mechanical circulatory support or orthotopic heart transplant, while floating Swan-Ganz Catheters, VA ECMO, and LVADs. Lead a collaborative multidisciplinary team in the expanding ICU at the University of Arizona & Banner University Medical Group's Phoenix Campus. Provide education to medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to research. Preference is given to those with experience managing post-heart transplant patients and a background in anesthesia. Join a facility recognized as a leading primary teaching hospital in the Greater Phoenix area.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine by ABA, ABIM, ABS
- Academic experience with the desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows
- desire to participate in research
- Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices
- Experience with VA ECMO

- Background in Anesthesia
