Physician-Critical Care: Intensivist

Manage patients with heart failure, many requiring mechanical circulatory support or orthotopic heart transplant, while floating Swan-Ganz Catheters, VA ECMO, and LVADs. Lead a collaborative multidisciplinary team in the expanding ICU at the University of Arizona & Banner University Medical Group's Phoenix Campus. Provide academic education to medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in research. Board certification in Critical Care Medicine by ABA, ABIM, or ABS is required, with preferred experience managing post-heart transplant patients and an anesthesia background.
