Job Summary
Develop and strengthen relationships with referring physicians, primary care providers, and community organizations across an assigned geographic territory through regular office visits, educational presentations, and direct outreach. Manage organizational sponsorships, coordinate community events and health fairs, and identify new partnership opportunities to drive referral volume growth and brand awareness. Partner with the Marketing & Communications team to capture stories, photos, and video content showcasing physicians and patient success stories for digital channels. Track referral trends, monitor retention rates, and provide regular reporting on outreach efforts and partnership outcomes. Represent the practice professionally at networking opportunities while collaborating with Operations and Practice Leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in physician relations, healthcare marketing, provider outreach, business development, community engagement, or a related healthcare relationship management role
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned service area and attend evening and weekend events

- Healthcare sales
- Proven track record in physician relationship building and management
- Experience coordinating events, sponsorships, or community engagement initiatives
- Experience within healthcare, orthopedic, or multi-site physician practice environments
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable presenting to physicians, healthcare professionals, and community organizations
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Marketware or additional relationship management tools
