Physician Clinical Information Analyst (Onsite)

Job Summary
Responsible for validating data collected through clinical documentation to ensure it is sound, relevant, accurate, and reliable, while supporting the values and objectives of Memorial Hermann Health System. Assists clinicians with workflow and process analysis that align with strategic plans, leveraging resources, metrics, benchmarks, and system standards across the enterprise. Documents processes and workflows and presents them as educational materials. Aligns with the ISD strategy, supports customer expectations, and participates in clinical redesign, process improvement, and education initiatives. Develops educational strategies/tools to enable staff to perform their functions effectively, and participates in facility certification attestations and change management activities. This onsite role reports to an IT Manager and is based at Memorial Hermann - The Woodlands.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or clinically related field or at least one (1) year of equivalent industry experience in healthcare
- Requires at least one (1) year of healthcare industry experience and/or implementation of large and complex information Systems in a Health Care environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of IT, Microsoft Office tools, knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Understanding of effective Customer Relationship Management Skills necessary for efficient problem resolution to maximize customer satisfaction
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Identifies opportunities for optimization of processes leading to reduced variation and increased efficiencies
