Job Summary
Provide comprehensive patient medical and surgical care in inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology, including preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures. Build and sustain a patient panel while applying critical thinking to assess needs, analyze clinical data, and develop treatment plans. Maintain board certification, complete continuing education, and participate in quality improvement initiatives alongside colleagues to foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Respond effectively to emergencies and varying workload conditions while demonstrating strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited program
- Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Oregon without restriction or qualification
- Completion of an ACGME OB/GYN residency program
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration certificate
- Medical staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges in Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Meets all criteria required of participating physicians in health plans and government health programs designated by WHA
- Insurable by malpractice carrier for WHA in minimum amounts required by WHA
