Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with specialists as required. Supervise clinical activities of all personnel to ensure treatment plans align with established protocols. Collaborate with Case Managers to maintain an effective case management process and assist the Director of Operations in coordinating the HealthWorks program. Work with the Director of Operations to integrate clinical and administrative functions while addressing compliance and risk management issues. Requires a current unrestricted Tennessee Medical License and three years of Occupational Medicine experience. This role supports the Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner at HealthWorks within Covenant Medical Group's East Tennessee network.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO or equivalent degree
- current unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
- ability to analyze situations and make appropriate decisions concerning confidentiality of information
- good judgment relating to exposure follow-up recommendations
- skill at using appropriate desktop software, including work processing, spreadsheet, database and graphics applications
- effectiveness in working with multi-disciplinary teams
- highest ethical and professional standards
Desired Qualifications
- three (3) years experience as an Occupational Medicine physician
- management/leadership experience
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine
