Job Summary
Full-time General Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon at Dignity Health Medical Group in Prescott, AZ, joining a group of 2 physicians and 3 Nurse Practitioners. Requires 5+ years of orthopedic experience with experience in fractures, wound care, and total joints. Office workload 30-40 patients per day per provider; inpatient 5+ per call day; consults 10+ per call day. Typical week is M-Th 9-4 in clinic with surgical dates rotating by provider and availability. Procedures include all orthopedic surgery; call is 7+ days per month shared with local clinics. Licensed physicians will provide care across inpatient and outpatient settings in a level 4 trauma hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery, in ACGME approved programs
- Current BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery (American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery)
- Valid state medical license as MD or DO
- Valid DEA certificate
