Physician Cardiothoracic Surgery

Based in Danville with coverage at other Geisinger sites (Wilkes-Barre and Scranton), the successful Cardiothoracic Surgeon will contribute to the full breadth of Adult Cardiothoracic surgery, including standard and minimally invasive valvular operations and multiple arterial conduits for revascularization. The role supports Geisinger’s growing Heart Failure, Adult Congenital Heart disease, LVAD, and ECMO programs, and participates in a multi-disciplinary Structural Heart Program performing TAVR and MitraClip. The candidate should have broad Cardiothoracic training and an interest in minimally invasive techniques, robotic approaches, and mechanical circulatory support. A current PA medical license is required.
