Job Summary
Based in Danville with potential coverage at other Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute sites; provides broad Cardiothoracic surgery services including standard and minimally invasive valvular operations, robotic approaches, and expertise in aortic procedures with involvement in Mechanical Circulatory Support programs (LVAD) and ECMO. Participation in Heart Failure and Adult Congenital Heart disease programs; LVAD certification; involvement with TAVR and MitraClip programs; requires MD/DO with PA medical licensure; collaboration with Cardiac Anesthesia and ICU teams; opportunity to assist with coverage at multiple sites within the system.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
- License: Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
