Job Summary
Physician Cardiothoracic Surgeon based in Danville with coverage at other Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute sites. Roles involve broad Cardiothoracic surgery including standard and minimally invasive valvular operations, arterial conduits for revascularization, LVAD and ECMO program participation, and involvement in a multidisciplinary Structural Heart Program performing TAVR and Mitra Clip. Requires MD/DO with PA medical licensure; prior cardiothoracic training and interest in robotic/minimally invasive approaches and mechanical circulatory support are desired. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (MD/DO)
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
- Broad Cardiothoracic training and experience
- Interest in minimally invasive, robotic, aortic or mechanical circulatory support (desirable)
